All Saints Cemetery in Jesmond, Newcastle

All Saints Cemetery is located on Jesmond Road in Newcastle upon Tyne opposite Jesmond Old Cemetery. It was still a rural part of Newcastle when it opened in 1857.

The cemetery, its buildings and the gothic arch above the entrance were designed by Benjamin Green, a famous architect from Newcastle. In total, about 90,000 burials took place here. The Polish defence commander of Lviv from 1939 - Major General Władysław Langner, is buried in this cemetery.
